Terms of Service & Additional Information
CVs & Cover Letters: These services are only available to customers who can provide an existing CV in a word format, which must be received before work begins. Payment in full is requested in advance and must usually be received before work commences on your document/s. On occasions, we may agree to payment in installments and where this is the case, we cannot share completed documents before payment is received in full.
We politely advise that clients respect the professional opinion of our writers as to what information should be included in your CV or Cover Letter and that requests for edits/revisions should be justifiable and reasonable. No future revisions or edits are included as part of this service, though any mistakes on our part will be rectified. We do not accept any responsibility for transcribing mistakes from an existing CV to a new CV or Cover Letter. Our Express CV and Cover Letter services include only email consultation. We aim to complete Express CVs within 2 working days, Standard CVs within 10 working days and Paced CVs within 20 working days. Completion times are dependent on us receiving any additional information we ask from you in a timely manner. Timescales for completion of Cover letters will be agreed between ourselves and the client. If and when we are experiencing a higher than expected volume of orders, we will let you know if there is likely to be any delay, so you can decide if you wish to proceed. Once we have sent you any completed draft of your CV or Cover Letter, we will imply that you are satisfied with your document and sign it off as finalised if we do not hear back from you to the contrary within 1 week.
Linkedin Profiles: Linkedin Profile refers to the profile section of your Linkedin account and no other sections.Payment is requested in advance and must be received before any work commences. You will receive the first draft of your Linkedin Profile no later than 10 working days from commencement of work, provided you have supplied all the relevant information requested or unless otherwise agreed in writing. We politely advise that clients respect the professional opinion of our writers as to what information should be included in your Linkedin Profile and that requests for revisions or edits should be justified and reasonable. Edits will be completed within 3 working days or within a mutually agreed timescale. We do not accept responsibility for the inclusion of any incorrect details or information as provided by the customer. Once we have sent you any completed draft of your Linkedin Profile, we will imply that you are satisfied with your document and sign it off as finalised if we do not hear back from you to the contrary within 1 week.
Job Application Reviews, Advice and Edits: All requested documents relating to your job application should be received by us before any work begins. Payment is requested in advance and must be received before any work commences. The completion time for each service varies and we will inform you of completion times before you proceed. We do not accept responsibility for the inclusion of any incorrect details or information provided by the customer.
Hours of Business: Our official working hours are between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday. We understand that many customers are also at work during these hours and find it difficult to take time out for consultation. Consultations outside of these hours can be arranged with your writer within agreed reasonable hours. Our writers do not take unscheduled calls. Calls should be scheduled in advance at an agreed reasonable time.
Payments, Cancellations and Refunds: We will email you an invoice with details on how to pay. We reserve the right to cancel orders or extend deadlines under circumstances beyond our control . If we have to cancel, we will notify you at the earliest opportunity and you will have the choice of rearranging or obtaining a refund. We require non-refundable payment in full. or in the case of installments a 50% non refundable deposit, before we commence work. Completed document/s cannot be forwarded until payment is received in full, without exception. The reason for this is that, because of the digital nature or our product, it is simple to reproduce or copy the digital content we supply, which makes our products open to abuse and this is the only way we can protect our interests. Where an outstanding payment is not received within 5 working days of an invoice been issued, we reserve the right to delete any completed work and/or deem the order defunct.
Copyright & Intellectual Property
All materials produced and sent by Oogii remain our intellectual property. Sharing, copying or otherwise disseminating any part or the whole of your document outside of your job search without our permission is deemed an infringement of copyright. We reserve the right to use materials provided by you and content we have created for your CV for promotional and educational purposes only and will always protect your identity by removing all personal details.
Quality Assurance: We pride ourselves on the quality of the work we produce. Every item of work is proofread digitally and manually and checked for quality by a Senior Consultant before being signed off. However, we are only human and very occasionally you may notice a mistake or typo. In this case, please let us know and we will correct it promptly.
Security: Payments are by electronic bank transfer and we do not ask for your bank or card details. You should also see the lock icon in the web address bar which shows we operate a secure site.
Data Protection: We are ICO registered and take care to keep your details safe. We will never share your details with any third party. We do not keep our client details on file and whilst we reserve the right to use documents for promotional and educational purposes, all personal details will be removed.
Guarantee: We aim to produce work that will substantially improve your interview rate and job prospects and work with you until you are satisfied with your documents under the terms set out here. When we send your finalised documents, if we do not hear from you within 1 week we will assume you are satisfied and your order is completed. We can offer no promise that using our services will result in job interviews or work. Our role is wholly preparatory and final outcomes rest with the client and the employer/recruiter. Whilst every care is taken by us to get it right for our clients, every employer/recruiter has a unique perspective, set of criteria and a subjective attitude towards CVs, cover letters, applications and interviews which means the outcome is ultimately out of our hands.
